The Stainless Steel Floor Balance is a type of weighing scale, and it goes by several other names depending on industry, usage, and manufacturer.

The Buoyancy Balance is commonly used in construction material testing (especially in civil engineering labs) to determine the specific gravity (also called relative density) of aggregates and other solid materials using Archimedes' Principle.

The spring balancer is used to suspend hand tools, power tools, hose assemblies etc. in order to increase safety and provide more comfort at the workstation. The load capacity of a spring neutralises the weight of a suspended device thus allowing the operator to move it without effort.
